The mission of CSCE Calgary is to promote the profession of civil engineering through knowledge, education, practice, training and research in Calgary and region. Our vision is that the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering will be the leading learned society disseminating new technologies, tools, techniques and practices for civil engineering in Calgary and region. In order to make our vision a reality, we rely heavily on the support of sponsorship to help subsidize the cost of delivering high quality and interesting civil engineering events at a cost-effective price for our members.
Founded in 1887 by prominent Civil Engineers in Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is a learned society intended to develop and maintain high standards of civil engineering practice in Canada and to enhance the public image of the civil engineering profession. The Calgary Section of the The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is a local branch of the national CSCE organization. We operate under the guidelines and mandates of the national organization, and are one of 21 local Sections in Canada.
